This book! Anyone with interests in any of the following: women, mother’s, equal-rights, civil-rights movement, journalism, or has ever known anyone ever with cancer and or taken a bio class needs to read this book. Skloot is able to tell both a grossly informative-scientific story with the prose of a beach novel.
just realized that book club is exactly one week from today. this makes me:
- excited to see everyone and host chez moi
- realize that i have some reading to do!
One of my favorite books in recent memory. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it.
